Another assignment I did was learning how to SketchUp. I went through five different introductions, provided by 3D Warehouse, that taught me the basics of SketchUp. Through self-paced tutorials, I learned about the various tools that SketchUp provides, such as the Orbit, Pan, Zoom, and Push/Pull tools. Then, after learning about these tools, I put them to use in turning rectangles into rectangular prisms, and finishing and painting houses.
To get a sense of what I did, attached below are some screenshots for the tutorials that I did.

This is a screenshot from the first tutorial, where I learned about the Orbit, Pan, and Zoom tool, as well as how to make rectangular structures using the the rectangle and Push/Pull tool. Here, I experimented with the rectangle and Push/Pull tools to create a monstrosity of a structure.
This is a screenshot of the second tutorial, where I utilizes the various tools I learned from the first tutorial in order to make a house from a rectangular prism. The left side (the side farther away) would give basic instructions, and I would follow the instructions in order to create the house.
This is a screenshot of the third tutorial. Similar to the second tutorial, I followed the instructions to create another house, except this time, I learned how to use the Paint Bucket tool, as well as how to set shadows and change shadow settings.
The next two are two screenshots of the fourth tutorial. The fourth tutorial demonstrated how to make a deck with a staircase. In addition, I learned the different display settings that can be toggled and manipulated to change the display.
The first screenshot is a blueprint of the houses, and the second is the actual model with shadows.

This is a screenshot of the final tutorial I did, named Colors and Materials. This tutorial teaches exactly what it was named-- I learned how to change and apply colors and materials onto surfaces using the Paint Bucket, as well as strategies that I can use to paint entire surfaces of an object with one click.
